UtiliMate Privacy Policy
UtiliMate is built to work on your device by default. We do not require an account, sell personal data, or ask for permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.
Information used by the tools
Depending on the tool you choose, UtiliMate may process camera images, scanned documents, photos you select, audio recordings and transcriptions, location, motion and sensor readings, device measurements, clipboard content you explicitly use, and files you open or export. This content is used to provide the feature you requested. Core processing is on-device unless an online lookup is inherent to the feature.
Online lookups
Some tools must send a limited request to an external service—for example currency, weather, mapping, web, DNS or certificate information. The request is limited to what is needed for that result. The provider also receives ordinary network information such as your IP address. Do not enter private content into a lookup field unless the feature clearly requires it.
Anonymous product analytics
To learn which workflows are useful, the app can send coarse events such as “tool opened”, “paywall viewed” or “purchase completed”, together with a tool name, broad outcome, app version and platform where relevant. We do not include account identifiers, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, search text, files, document content, recordings or precise location in these events. Cloudflare processes the web request and stores only allow-listed dimensions as daily aggregate counters in D1; we do not create a raw per-visit event row or intentionally store the request IP address in that dataset.
You can switch this off at any time under Settings → Share anonymous usage analytics. Turning it off does not affect the app’s tools or purchases.
Website analytics
This website records anonymous page-view, calculator-use and App Store click events using the same limited event endpoint. Calculator inputs and generated passwords stay in your browser and are not included. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
Advertising
The free app may show Google Mobile Ads. UtiliMate requests non-personalised ads, disables Google’s optional publisher first-party identifier and SDK crash reporting, and does not ask for cross-app tracking permission. Google may still process limited device, network and usage information to deliver, secure and measure ads under its own terms. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit, and product entitlement status is managed with RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement data under their respective privacy policies.
Storage and retention
Preferences, favourites, history and tool outputs you save are stored locally or in locations you choose. Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to iCloud or device backups you control. The analytics dataset contains daily aggregate counters rather than raw visits. External providers keep information according to their own policies.
Your choices
- Decline or revoke camera, microphone, photo, location, motion and speech permissions in iOS Settings.
- Turn anonymous usage analytics off inside UtiliMate Settings.
- Use Pro to remove ads.
- Delete locally saved content inside the relevant tool or remove the app.
Children
UtiliMate is a general utility product and is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their location.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For privacy or support questions, email hello@fairlightapps.com. Please do not attach sensitive tool content unless it is necessary to resolve your request.
